Interesting. I didn't even know that thing existed. In its basic form it looks like a simple relay... High beam is split to the trigger pin of the relay (86) -- this would only require like .5 A of the high beam circuit. Power source comes from the battery with an inline fuse appropriate for the fog light (30) then ground the relay at the battery or elsewhere (85). When the coil opens it delivers power to the fog lights (87) + ground... So fogs are on every time high beams are on. Is that how that thing works? What's the big ass box for?

Just to confirm, I don't have the Brite Box and I think the box is the relay. Really all I want is the fogs on when the high beams are on, as you probably know fogs are only on with the low beams.

Any chance you can create a harness that ties into the steering wheel controls?

In English: de-pin the fog light relay from the fuse-relay box in the engine bay (pins are accessible underneath the box). Use a 2-way diode and attach the high beam (constant) wire from the C11 harness to one side and then just put the de-pinned wire onto the other end. New wire from the 2-way diode to re-attach them to the fog light relay.

Thanks mucho, I'll look at this, so with this fogs would only come on with high beams and not low beams anymore? Or, with both low and high?

Both; and they would not interfere with each other because you used a diode (cannot back-activate).

Both, when the low beams send input to Main Body ECU to cut the ground, the ground required shifts to the high beam ground. Diode prevents high beams to be ON when not required.

Awesome, thanks, great stuff and don't take this the wrong way, but a lot of people think you're actually a Super Computer like IBM Watson.

Do you think this could be used to trigger auto headlights on with wipers?

I haven't done any testing yet but it sounds like you and @caribe makaira know what you are doing.

I thought it would be cool if the low or high wipers triggered the auto headlights to turn on.

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. I find myself missing that feature that my 2013 accord had.

    Thanks!

Is this how people run fogs and drl at the same time? Seen a few running both but on mine the drl dim if I try to run both at the same time.

Not enough detail to answer that...

They probably wired the fogs seperate from everything with a switch in the cab.

Well I can run fogs alone at full brightness or I can run fogs and drl together but they are both dim not full brightness. Stock no light mods or switches.

Very odd, since the DRL is not tied to the fog light circuit. DRL changes brightness (dimmer) when low beam is selected. I'm unaware there is any power control for brighter or dimmer on the fog lamp circuit.
Can you post/link a short video of this?

These are available again and I'll be making them to order (give me a 1-2 week lead). Thanks to everyone that has helped do R&D with this little harness. We've learned quite a bit!
