They are only 300k whiter than stock, it is only a minor change in color. Take them out on some dark roads outside of urban areas though. They project a measured 70%+ more light than stock, it should be a noticeable improvement.

As previously stated, I ordered the GE bulbs directly from Power Bulbs online on Jan 6th and still haven’t received them. I emailed them a week to 10 days ago about the delay. They’ve been responsive and helpful. Although not ideal, I appreciate the good service. In case anyone is worried about ordering from the UK. I’ll update when resolved.

I think most people are initially disappointed because there's less side illumination with the GEs. The LEDs throw so much light at the ditches that it can trick you into thinking the GEs aren't as bright. The GEs do throw an amazing amount of light down range though...where it counts...especially at highway speeds.

The customs shenanigans is probably what held up the other bulbs I’m still waiting on from overseas, that seem to be taking forever.

Good luck. I’m also in the Seattle Tacoma area like you. I ordered on the 17 or so of January.

But those will actually be designed to work with an LED, rather than trying to put LEDs in halogen lights. Will be interesting to see how much the ended up costing if purchased separate.

I put quality LEDs in my 18 trd or. hi low and fog. I have not been flashed and the light out put is better than factory to my eyes from the drivers seat. They were designed to work in the projector for the low beam, different part number designed to work in the fog light, same for the high beam. Not genaric garbage. Check out a company called brightsource. It was not cheap but worth every penny as I get older and my eyes dont like night driving like they used to. The reversible heatsink on the rear is clickable you you can optimize fitment and how the led are aimed in the housing for optimum reflection. If you dont buy junk and actually take the time to adjust them. You won't blind people and the output is good.

keep the Faith, ordered mine the 1/21 and received them 2/4. 14 days not bad from the UK to Tejas.
installed them drove around the block noticed some faint artifacts at the 6 O'clock position on both left and right. not as much side illumination as the stock Osrams but, I like to run the Fog as a driving lights and they seem to fill in ok. Probably going to intall some different fogs now. I do like the color temp, distance throw seems improved.

More of the same LED garbage. It is not possible for an LED to work correctly in a halogen projector. And the 'optimize filament location' is evidence of a product designed by someone that does not understand lighting optics.

I know this is a bit of a long read, but if you just focus on the LED and Halogen parts you will see that while the projector cut offs prevent glare, you have lost distance projection. And why many people initially think their products are an upgrade due to the increased foreground light, not initially realizing what you have lost.

Are there any other reputable companies that carry the GE's, other than Powerbulbs? Basic Google searches bring up a ton of European companies but, that's it. The recent rain storms in L.A. just solidified my disdain for the stock bulbs and I need to upgrade.

Amazon’s European sites like amazon.co.uk, but they won’t ship the bulbs to the US. You are going to need to get them out of Europe, I’ve searched for an N.A. Source but not found one.

Go for the Hella H9s instead and trim the base, they are available domestically.

Got any pics of what exactly needs to be trimmed? Or a link if that's already been covered?

I just purchased a set of the GEs last night. Saw that they were finally in stock. The wait begins.
