Headlights not turning off

The headlights on my 2017 Tacoma are not always turning off when I turn the engine off and the headlight is set to Auto. I have the setting set to 30 seconds. Most of the time they shut off but there have been a few times lately that they haven’t. No rhyme or reason to it that I can figure out.

Anybody else have this happen to them?

 

Does it turn off if you turn the setting off?

 

I have mine set to auto, and the headlights stay on for 30 seconds until I press the lock button on my key fob.

 

When I turn it off, get out and lock it, most of the time the lights shut off after 30 seconds. When they don’t, I have turn the setting to Off to get them to turn off.
