I have no hi or low beams. When checking at the lightbulb socket both wires are reading ground?

any electrical modifications made at, or around, when this started? I would start there. Heck, if they are not current I would start there anyways and also check fuses.

Strange to have no high or low. Start by checking the fuses, then the relays. After that it is possibly the switch. Relays or switch failure seems unlikely in a 2018 as that is pretty new.

All fuses good. When i start the truck the headlights flickered then would be fine. This lasted two weeks then i lost low beam headlights so i checked the fuses by pulling them out and push back in then tried it again and now i have no headlights?

it doesn't take much to upset the electrical systems on these trucks.
are these motorized steps by chance tied to the headlight circuit? I would backtrack and look.

Try swapping one of the headlight fuses with a spare from the lid and see if it makes a difference.

Regarding brights, are you testing them with the auto high beams turned off?

Very unlikely both, highs and lows, are not working. 2 separate fuses, 2 separate grounds. But still not impossible.

Then go back to the relays. Turning off/on the headlights should cause an audible relay click, though clicking doesn’t necessarily mean they are working. But no click means that they are defective or not getting power. If so, pull the relay and see if you are getting 12v to the relay with your multimeter. If they do click, but you are not getting power to the headlights and the fuse is good, then it is likely a bad relay or something has damaged the wiring inbetween the relay and the headlights.

    none yet
given that its both sides and both high and low I would be looking a the control side of the system, possibilities:
    bad switch
the way the steps were tied in damaged the control wiring and it finally broke
    rodent damage
