I need some advice. What is the best brand for paint/color for painting the housing of headlights?

Is Krylon paint durable? And is that satin black a polished black or more like matte black?

The outside lens is what takes the beating from the sun. The paint inside on the headlight bezels would be just fine.

    I just made another set.
I used Valspar for Plastic from Lowes. I used a different one before and it didn't want to stick to the chrome kept making little pin holes in the paint to the chrome where it didn't want to stick.

    Tips.
Use scotch brite to hit all the chrome areas you want painted, wash your hands with dish soap keep the oils off, wipe it good before painting.

Good luck and feel free to ask me anything else.

Yep. That's why this is #3 lol.
1st one I sanded the inside of the lens and used silicone to seal it. Came out good at first turned out bad later on. MISTAKE #1, but I traded these headlights for his old headlights with a broken tab on each plus $70 on his end.
2nd one I touched the inside... Dish soap and Windex still there. Clear coated them and sanded threw the clear coat. MISTAKE #2
3rd one I took my time with since I have a set already on my truck and was real careful about everything. We will see... :fingerscrossed:

Bought/got them all used and they were in bad shape before I started.
