I've been through so many headlights. I had one get moisture to the point I could never get them clear again. A couple of them I decided that they just didn't light the road up enough. I had one set of LED's from the DRL start shorting out. So I spent a bit more money and bought these. I'm very happy so far. (after 2 months) They are Anso black LED projector with LED sequential turn and DRL, purchased from CarID. I finally like a set of headlights that I bought.IMG_2036b.jpg

Did you actually pay $900 for these? They look AWESOME but I dont think I could justify that...

Yes. This project has taught me to spend the money to get the best I can get or I will end up buying another one later. So I spent the $900. I bought several lights at $250 to $300 and in each case I ended up not happy with the lights. One didn't light the road well. Another got moisture so badly that I couldn't clear it up. I've tried buying halogen headlights and converting to LED and that didn't function well. I like the look of these but I really like how they function. They really light up the road ahead well once I got them adjusted right. They are sealed so no moisture. They come as LED from the manufacture. I know this isn't necessarily the right answer for everyone but for me I think I made the right decision.

I finally got around to installing my new headlight buckets but just went with stock since they do a really good job at light output. The factory lights from Toyota are not cheap though but they are made really well. I think I paid around 275 or 325 per light bucket. Those LED projos look clean though.

Those Anzo appear to fit well. I once bought a pair of stock OEM-style Anzos from Rock Auto and the fitment was terrible, and I wasn't pleased with the light output so I went back to OEM headlight assemblies. The quality of the Anzos fitment was just awful, nothing wanted to align up.

Wow! My experience was just the opposite with these Anzo lights. I'll remember that so I don't assume that all Anzo light will fit right.

The fit was so bad I broke a bottom grill mounting clip trying to get the entire headlights and grill assembly together. And I did leave everything loose while fitting the lights and grill together. I ended up giving the Anzos away and I told the guy the quality of fit was really bad. I couldn't ask for a dollar amount for them because I knew how badly they fit. The OEM light assemblies fit just like they should.

I was heavily looking at Aftermarket lights but that was my biggest issue is fitment and didn't want to deal with it, so factory it was. I love the look of those LED projos and the running lights.

Yes. Fitment is always a big concern. You can't go wrong with OEM. I guess I've been pretty lucky. I've never had a fitment issue with headlights. My plan is that these will be in as long as I own this Taco, which I expect to be for awhile. (I've poured enough money into this one that I'd better keep it for a very long time. King suspension F/R, StopTech big brakes up front with discs in back, and a supercharger.)

Those look really good. But for the money did you consider doing TRS retrofit.

I'm not familiar with the TRS retrofit. I didn't find anything specific in my search. I'd like to know more for the future or for friends thinking of a change.

I know I spent top dollar for my lights. I'm happy with what I got.

I got my kit here, opened up my headlights and did them. then put back together. Super easy to do. Look up Retrofit headlights in the search bar and you will see ALOT of people that have done them here. and ive seen some dual projectors in them too. This is the kit i used for mine. It was night and day difference from the China MiniH1 i had before.

Looks like there are some good options there. Yours look good. I think I have expensive tastes. I would have gone for the 4 light projectors. I bookmarked it for the future. I know mine were expensive but the quality is good. I like the look I got. I think I got my moneys worth.

I'd like to know about the light output as well. Also, what bulb size are they using? How does the hi/low work? Do they use two of the projectors for low beam and add the third for high? Thanks,

Since my last post on this thread my Anzo lights have failed on me. They began filling with moisture and then a real water buildup. I once took the lights out to dry them out and poured over a cup of water out of them. I got a warranty refund and bought AlphaRex Luxx lights to replace them. They are also LED and spread a good amount of light on the road ahead. I just did this last week and will post pics soon if anyone is interested.
