All 3rd gen housings are compatible in fit, regardless of year, and you only need to worry about a full wiring conversion harnesses when going from halogen assemblies to LED (or vice versa).

Make sure the “new” assemblies match your truck in terms of DRLs though. The OEM halogen headlights come with either LED or Halogen DRLs

Yes, fitup is the same. Only concern is if you are replacing the halogen lamp assembly with the oem LED headlamp, in which case you'll need a conversion harness.

They will, no harness needed assuming neither truck has been modified.

There are three types of headlights as pointed out by @musicisevil
    1) Halogens SR/SR5/trailhunter. These use a halogen DRL, which is a shared bulb with the turn signal. So it is amber unless changed to a switchback or something.
    2) Halogen TRD trims. These have an LED DRL they is “L” shaped around the low beam.
    3) OEM LEDs. These are full LED, and have a “C” shaped DRL that goes around the low and high beam. The DRL is white, with a switchback amber turn signal. The turn signal is also reverse sequential.

So as long as you are swapping like for like (like a #1 for a #1 in your case), no conversion is needed. Going from one number to a different number will require a harness though. And depending on which number to which number, that harness can be pretty simple or fairly complex. But all are doable.
