I recently got some Caltrend brand leather seat covers for my 2009 Taco. To install I need to remove the headrest clip that’s down in the seat. From my research there is no easy way to remove this without taking the factory upholstery off the seat, does anyone know of any other way?
The reason I went with this option is I put these exact seat covers in a 08 Ram a few months ago with no trouble, plus the lower price and ability to swap them out “easily” if they get destroyed all made these seem like the best option for me.
I couldn’t find any information on these covers in our trucks and now I think I see why, I have a call into Caltrend asking how they expect customers to install these and hope to hear back tomorrow.
