Have had these installed over a year and really never put any use to them... Just installed some Sport seats so these are going; no use cutting up more headrests if I don't use them.

They're actually back seat headrests; the fronts weren't wide enough to fit them so I got a set of rears to install them in. I actually put the LCD frame inside behind the material then pushed the monitors in; personally I think they look better that way, the edges are cleaner in my opinion.

One has some light scratches in it but they could probably be worked out; I know there's methods of scratch removal out there. Looks a lot worse in the photo, lol, but they hardly noticeable when on.

Remote included. Just as a note, you HAVE to have the remote to turn them on and off if just hooked to an ign circuit. But if you wire them to a stand alone switch, once you power them up and then use the remote to turn them on you can use just the switch to toggle them on and off. Basically, they have a "last state at power" memory.

They're Power Acoustik brand 7" LCD but for the life of me I can't remember the model number...

Honestly I'm not sure, but I will see if they'll slide down onto my Sport seats tomorrow if you'd like. Obviously the materials are not going to match. I would imagine that the width for the posts should be the same though.

Here's a few more photos; the process of putting them in the headrests and one with them powered on (playing Step Brothers :D)

You can see what I mean about the frame around the edge; it's HUGE! I just liked the way they looked with it tucked away behind the material better.

Tested the fit and they do slide onto the Sport seats, they posts are the same width, obviously the materials are different. I can measure the posts after lunch though if you're trying to put them on something other than 2nd gen seats.

No DVD player, they just have a single RCA input. I had them hooked to my Pioneer double din's video output.

Center to center of the posts are right at 6"

Posts themselves are just a hair under 1/2" diameter

I ran them from the headrest down into the back of the seat beside the plastic piece that the headrest post slides into (I always had my headrests all the way down against the seat, so the wire was never visible to me), just threaded between it and the seat material, down through the back of the seat (which is the tricky part; getting wires to route through there without removing the seat material. the passenger side was easy because the plastic tray can pop right off, but the driver's side is a little more difficult). then just went between the top and bottom parts of the seats right at the bend on the side closest to the center console. On the non-sport seat with the tray thing on the back, I had to make about a 3" loop of wire for the power and video feed out in the open with some loom over it to allow some slack for the seat to fully fold down (not that I ever did fold it down, but I didn't want to yank the wires out if one day I decided to lay it flat), but on the driver's side there were not any wires visible at all. from there I just jumped over to under the center console; that small jump was completely unseen unless you were really looking for the wires. then from there up to the radio for the power and video feed (I had mine tied into the ign circuit. I planned on putting a switch in for them not long after the initial install, but never did... never really though much about them seeing that I never really used them, LOL)

thanks, I tried, lol. I thought it was really cool at first but I just don't have a practical use for them; no kids, and really no one ever rides in my back seat

these are a great deal, and the install is so clean, i really want to take em off your hands, but I doubt i'd get much use out of them either, I mean I can't sit and the back and drive at the same time, I barely even have a passenger most of the time :)
