My kids keep complaining about the position of the headrests in the rear seats of the double cab. I've tried to adjust but it doesn't seem to have an adjustment except to gold down. I agree with them it's very uncomfortable. image.jpg

Wow those are extremely tilted forward. The tilted head forward position on my 2015 was a big turn off for the first couple weeks until I got used to it. I like to be able to sit up perfectly straight which these type of head rest do not allow for. The passenger ones are not like that in my 2015... so possible solution would be picking up head rest off an older generation.

Either way would like to hear if any other solutions as I would prefer my driver head rest to straight.

Flip them around. I thought the same thing the other day after I moved the back seats from stowed to passenger position.

Yeah those look like they're backwards. Mine are not tilted forward like that.

Mine definitely are not that far tilted. I would like an adjustment option though.

Your a genius Rob! They were in backwards. I recently got it back from the leather shop and they put them on backwards when they were done. Thanks everyone for your help. That's why I love this forum.

Just don't tell the kids and see if they mention the comfort now.

    Nice leather.

No, but when they replaced them after install they put them in backwards. The truck went straight from the dealer to the leather shop so I never saw them prior to that.

When yuo flipped them they clear the windows? With that drastic of an angle looks like it be pushing on the window if you flipped it.

That what you would have thought. That's why I never thought they were in backwards, but they're fine.

It looks like the stitching is backwards now tho. In the first pic the stitching looks the right way. So I understand the entire headrests were in backwards but that's because the install shop has the leather on backwards. I'd have them redo it with the leather on the headrests the right way. I could be wrong tho

Edit: see how you can see the double stitching on the middle headrest. I'd think the two sides should have the double stitching facing forward. So now the actual headrests are correct but the cover is backwards.

... and if the leather was on backwards, it would be suede.
