If I bought a TRD Sport with the Premium package that adds a lot of the tech to the truck. Do you think it would be possible to order a OEM Heads up display from the TRD pro and install it on the truck? I don't see how it wouldn't be possible because with the premium package the tech inside the truck would almost be identical. If it isn't compatible this is clearly Toyota being greedy trying to force us to buy unaffordable trims. I cant justify spending 20k more for a few more features I dont want.

Honestly, it would be crazy expensive, one issue alone is the danged windshield, it adds costs and makes it harder to procure.

The dash itself has its own modification/cut out as well. It's basically not do-able.

Does it require a special windshield?

HUDs on every car I have owned SUCK. They are probably expensive as hell to add after the sale so good luck.

I think that just gets you a wire. The whole assembly is a lot more (new) but still pricey used. I would imagine you would also have to replace the dash since I don't believe the non-HUD trucks have the hole to drop that sub-assy into.

Also, not even 20K will get you one on the Pro or TH, at least not for the 2025s. Your only option is the Limited or a lot of parts.
