They aligned great! And my truck tracks excellent. 0 toe, 0 camber, 3.5 degrees of caster. Best part is they were $320! Have greaseable zerks on the ball joint along with some great customer service. Already hit them up for an extra pair of top caps and some new decals. I paid for them, just wanted an extra pair.

    Same crap everyone else got
How long have you had them on? Do you press in a stock ball joint when on goes bad? I may pick up a set next ebay 15% off coupon.

@ChadsPride how is the ride? Assuming you are on the first notch? I have 5100’s with sport springs at 1.75 notch and its stiff as hell, even harsh on highway bumps.

From what I’ve read. Yes, the ball joint can be pressed in. Fairly simple process if one goes bad.

2" Lift with HS coils/AAL and 5100s, TRD Exhaust, TRD Skid Plate, URD Short Shift, AT3s
I had the HS coils and 5100s installed during my frame replacement last spring along with Deaver AALs for the stock springs in the rear. Truck sits level and rides pretty well for the terrible roads up here.

After the lift I did notice that the truck rocks back and forth more, such as the front end lifting up a bit when you take off from a stop, and then diving more when you hit the brakes, but I guess that's common with any lift due to the extra suspension travel. Maybe heavier springs in the front would reduce that.

The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is a clunking noise from the front end that occurs when you take off from a stop. I've checked everything over and I didn't find loose bolts or parts hitting each other so I've learned to ignore it.

I have had the HS coils paired with 5100s for the last 8 months or so. No issues at all.

Concerning the clunking noise, low brake pads that needs replacing have been known to cause similar sounds. I had this issue and new pads and the double spring mod eliminated the noise.DABF81FD-E828-4BE8-8823-E8E5103C8970.jpg

5100's @2.5 and add a leaf. 255/80R17 Cooper ST Maxx.
Do you have the stock uca or aftermarket? Because it could also be coming from the stock ones after being maxed out.

What are the limitations of the stock UCAs with a lift? Is it caster, camber or both? Or is it a travel issue?

    Caster is the main one.

Makes sense, what is a good caster number? +3 degrees?

1 degree for each inch of lift.

Stock, figured they were okay for a 2" lift.

Yeah I'm familiar with that sound and it's not the one I hear. I replaced the front brakes in 2017. The brake sound is more of a click than a clunk.

I have about 2.5 and mines are maxed out. Have you gotten an alignment since your lift?

Yes it was aligned after it was installed and then again six months later.
