Well, it looks like I've found my suspension vendor. I'll be giving you a call over the next few days with some questions, @HeadStrong Off-Road.

Leer 100R cap. K&N air filter. Bilstein 6112. Bilstein 5160.

I ordered my Bilstein 6112/5160 suspension set up from HeadStrong Off-Road a couple of years ago. Happy to report everything is working well and I would DEFINITELY order from Marie at HeadStrong again. Wonderful customer service. Cheap prices. Fast delivery. Highly recommend to anyone here on Tacoma World for you aftermarket accessories.

After months and months of trying to figure out what lift I wanted, a quick email to Marie and the decision was made. I couldn’t be happier with my set up. 5100s with 887s and 3 leaf AAL. Thank you for the email response, fast shipping and great prices.

Finally got 5100s with 2888s and 3 leaf AAL installed this week and can't be more happy with the outcome! If it wasn't for all the help from Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road I'd still be reading through the endless info on the forums. Once I get time I'll be posting some pictures.

Anything approaching or over 2.5" of lift it is HIGHLY recommended to get UCA's.

Assembly was just peace of mind. IMHO, get the assembly.

Ok thanks! And what about the .85 setting?, that will help max out the lift, but safely? Attached is the setup I was going for.

    Hello everyone ,

I ordered my OME 888 coil / 5100 front and B110 rear shock with med dakars and camburg uni ball uca's . Headstrong was very helpful with the ordering and questions I had . They sent tracking info promptly and within 7 days I had all my parts. The only complaints I have are my control arms were sent directly from camburg and had some gouges on the control arms and uni ball housing, which I'm worried will cause premature rust. Also the Dakar leafs are shipped un packaged ( they do say this in there shipping info so I was expecting this) but they were VERY beaten. All the paint was scraped off the sides and around the bushing eye. it would be a good idea for headstrong to wrap them in cellophane and cardboard

Thank you so much for your business we do truly appreciate it. I know that it can be frustrating with the Dakars but unfortunately, this is how the leaf packs ship to ARB USA from ARB Australia and I would venture to guess this is how they ship from the manufacturing country to ARB Australia. This is how ARB USA ships them to their distributors and how they drop ship them to the end users. Unfortunately we had tried to wrap them up at one point but it really didn’t help much since they are not initially cared for. Due to their size and weight it is not practical to contain them in cardboard since they end up puncturing through and destroying the boxes. The only real way to help is to palletize them, which then drastically increases the shipping costs and then makes them impractical to purchase since NO ONE seemed to want to pay more than double for each one of the leaf packs. Even still with them being palletized this is how they ship across the world so they still ship out looking like this. We have found that trying to find a warehouse nearest our customer, whether it be ARB in Florida, Washington or by another supplier it helps to cut down on handling and helps to preserve them to a certain degree. Part of the review I made on TW went over the new coating and how it isn’t preferable but this is just part of ARB’s process now. We have also made notes about this on our website as well which helps to let people know that this is not an ideal situation. Now some people have chosen to paint them just to help protect them while others choose not to since they do go under the truck. I know it isn’t ideal but unfortunately this is just how it is with these leafs. One thing to mention, is if you decide to take them apart to paint them please be sure to put the leafs back together in the same order and direction. Failure to do so may affect the leaf pack.
