i installed the new HS progressive aal last night along with OME 887 and 5100's with the spacer for taco lean.

This morning I noticed the driver rear is lower 1" from pax side. I threw out the original instructions but went to the headstrong website and they have a pdf of the instructions and no mention is made of the kit having different sides like a + or a 0. Has anyone else had an issue? I did break the drivers side pin and am hoping to get a new one from HS soon. It broke while hand tightening the bolt with little force, or not over tightened.

HS said this was new so I hope I'm not part of a trial and error situation. It took us a long time to do this and we had to cut off the stock leaf brackets so new ones could bolt up.

Any ideas? I know the center pin is an issue but everything is aligned and it doesn't appear to be a culprit to this issue.

Until you fix the pin, whose to say...
Did you use a c-clamp to compress your springs before tightening the bolt?

How much lift did you get in front? Is your 5100 set on 0 or .85? Hub to fender masurment would be nice. Thanks!

We used huge channel locks and a wrench to tighten. We were tired and cutting corners but we were both surprised to see it snap. Hammered it back in for now. Everything is centered still so can see how that variable effects it.

The aal were installed with the loner side toward back as instructed.

24" in front so 3" exactly. Set at .85".

Thanks for reply. I did 887 and 5100 at 0" today and got 24" hub to fender, still puzzled where extra 1 inch lift came from

OP we actually gave several packs away for free to gain feedback first. In fact we actually did the install on a couple of the packs we gave away just so we could take our own measurements and get a feel for the ride on and offroad, so you are not part of a trial and error thing.

We received your e-mail about the center pin, no problem we'll get another sent out to you. FYI, in our instructions we do indicate the need to clamp the packs before tightening the center bolt down, its sounds like you did this so we are fine sending a replacement.

The packs are not right/left specific, they are all manufactured the exact same. As for the lean, did you happen to take measurements before the install? If there was a lean before it would still be there after installing the 3 leaf AALs. Just keep in mind the bulk of the lift actually comes from the thickness of the 3 stack so the influence the AALs have on the factory pack is minimal, when talking lift.

If you have any other questions feel free to call or e-mail us. Just keep in mind we are still closed until a little later, I just wanted to respond back.

Anybody else having this issue? I have a full inch below the passenger side. Measurements were not taken prior. There was absolutely no lean before hand. It looked like a normal truck not a drunk retard. If anyone else has had this issue please let me know how to remedy this!! I don't want to bandaid fix with a block lift on one side. I want the leafs to take care of it the correct way.
