he was actually very nice via text messages, seemed like a really nice guy, told me when he shipped it out, responded great to everything, when I finally realized the condition, i pm'd him, he responded within an hour or 2, I told him i would send me him pics, he kept insisting that gorilla glue would fix it, and it was only $50, I didn't appreciate buying 3 cracked flaps and that it was only $50, the rear one wasn't nearly as bad as the front two, I put a pic of that too, so he did agree to a partial refund, and that's where we're at now

Well im glad my friend offer me a great price on his filter then and didnt get in a predicament like this. But he was very informative, responded great and in a timely manner just like nammer said. Always a shame to hear something like that on TW, just goes to show not everyone can be as trusting or honest on here. Hope you got everything resolved nammer!

Joined last Feb, 14 posts, and EVERY one of them is in the Marketplace trying to sell stuff except for the mudflap sale which wasn't even posted in the right forum.


Post count doesn't mean shit... but when it's obvious that someone is here ONLY to sell shit and not be a participating member of the community, they won't get my money.

95% of my activity on this forum is in BST,.. i noticed a lot of interest from users wanting a full size factory spare so I sold my rims individually for dirt cheap... one of the buyers was a moderator (brunes) how does that not help this community?

Contributing or participating is more than just buy/sell/trade. It's support like helping out if someone has a problem with mechanical issues on their truck. It's support when someone can't figure out how to use the ATRAC properly. It's support if someone is stuck and random people come to help pull him out. It's support when someone's son is missing while on a far away trip and TW comes together to try to find him.


That is contributing to the community.

The guy comes on here to make money. He doesn't follow the rules. He misrepresents items that are bought on trust. He is misusing the reputation of TW as being a safe place to conduct business.

THAT is NOT contributing to the community.

Get the OP a refund....lesson is to ask specific questions and to not buy anything without pics posted at time of thread being opened.

18 year old kid's lesson is to shoot TW folks straight or shit hits the fan.

If he won't give you a refund, I'm hopefully 1 of 10 people willing to throw $5 your way via PayPal as a thank you for bringing this to the board's attention.

I just don't it's very cool to say you're going to do something and not do it, and then avoid contact, IF the excuse was legit for the past week now, then he'll straighten it out, doesn't take very long to issue a partial refund.
