Only in the same state that allows you to drink in your vehicle while driving would a 1st Gen Taco on tractor tires be street-legal!

Louisiana does not have an open container law!

Louisiana is purely a party state. For mardi gras season the gloves are off, anything goes really haha

As long as you don't show anything below the belt on Bourbon Street...

I've seen those special episodes of COPS filmed during Mardi Gras!

They have drive-thru daiquiris though! I've heard that is actually legal to drink in your car there...

Maybe it's changed? I've haven't been to New Orleans in almost eight years...

The women were not arrested for showing their tits the first time, but genitalia from men or women resulted in immediate arrest...

Yea we do have drive thru daiquiris shops. And they come with a piece of freezer tape over the straw hole. Cause yeaaa that tape makes it legal hahah. It's to the point where we have beer in our dollar stores. I think that was 2 or so years ago they started that.

I appreciate the sentiment but that's not true. No where in Lousiana is it legal to have open containers in your vehicle. In New Orleans you are allowed to have open containers in public, but not in your vehicle.

It’s never been legal to drink and drive, it counts as an unopened container as long as you don’t put in the straw or remove the top.

They do, please read above. ^^^

Edit* I'm not saying the law isnt very loose with alcohol, but it remains illegal to drink and drive.
