    Has anyone been able to take off the exhaust manifold heat shields on a 3.4 Mine rattle on both sides under acceleration and it sounds terrible.

    Mine was cracked where it bolts up. I just put a wider washer on it and tightened it back up.

    Its the heat shield behind the motor in between the cab and motor.
