The 07 manual must be different from the 06. Page 235 is just the contents for the section about climate control. In mine it specifies the defogging function in several places. Here, I'll transcribe the first one. It's page 237 of the 07 manual below the picture labeled "Air flow selector" talking about each of the settings:

Clear as mud? Maybe there are some minor diffs between the 05-08 models in this regard.

okay that explains it and that blows! (no point intended) Lets say you turn the A/C on while it is on hot would that kick more air out? If not I think some wiz out there should make a mod for this.

I was going to take my truck in to the dealer to have this "problem" fixed because I thought there was something wrong. When I select Feet Only it blows throught the same vents and same pressure as when I select Feet/Windsheild. Nothing changes when I switch between the two. So it's supposed to be like that??? That sucks!!!

No matter what I do the side vent always blows in my face (the center ones go off if I don't have the face selected). Man, that's confusing!!!!

Bottom line is that it's "normal"????

Yes, it's normal. The feet/windshield mode turns on the "defogging function" which dries the air out to clear the windshield faster. I always thought it used the AC, but apparently that function exists on trucks without AC so now I don't know....
