Sounds good. Also welcome to Tacoma World and congrats on the new truck. Hopefully this will be one of the first of many upgrades to come!

I've updated the OP... The under the AC kit option now includes 5, 10, 15 or 20 minute options. If you have already ordered that kit and would like to change your heating time there is no problem to change it. Just need to post here and let me know.

If I did not already have heated mirrors I would be grabbing this up for sure.
OP: what is the part number for the under a/c controls with green light.
Reason I ask, I have the red one and would like the matching green.
    Thanks!

Definitely interested. But don't add me to the list the way the dollar is right now. Quite some time ago I bought just about all the individual supplies to do this and never got around to finishing it. This would be a much easier and cleaner finish. Props for coming up with this kit

Yeah the exchange rate is really high right now. If things change and you want to place an order just let me know

Whether you finish off with the parts you purchased, or get this kit... I think you will find the mod was well worth the cost / effort. I would have a hard time going back to not having heated mirrors.

Will do! It was probably the worst when I first bought my tacoma after having heated mirrors previously. Now I've gotten used to it but it's still a PITA.

Thanks for the order! I just added you to the list. I should be accepting payments and filling orders starting mid next week. I plan to use next weekend to be packaging a lot of orders up, however anyone who has made payment shortly after I've sent a PM requesting funds will likely have their order shipped out before the weekend.

Still love this. We've been getting some cool nights here lately and I love just hitting a button to clean the mirrors. Found a kijiji ad and sent him your way Jaimes.

Nice, thanks a lot. I plan to sell via other avenues such as kijiji down the road but figured this is a great place to start. I've personally found all sorts of cool stuff on this site I didn't even know were available.

My wallet is groaning but this upgrade is something I have wanted from day one. Some things that Toyota has done, like ignoring heated mirrors, just makes me think they have rocks in their head. Even my 2002 Suzuki had heated mirrors. Oh well, I guess I should be glad the truck didn't come with crank windshield wipers :dancingbacon: Look for my PM Jaimes, and thank you for a well built retrofit!

PM Replied and thanks for the order! No disagreement with you there. With what the Tacoma runs you would expect a few of the extras to be included... hell nowadays heated mirrors should pretty much be a standard feature or at minimum an option that can be added.

Would you change mine from 5 min to 15 min. I know if I get it at 5 and have to keep pressing the button or pull it out and change the settings, I'm going to be all :smash:

Not a problem just made the change. I've been working with the relay manufacturer to get a bit of a design change on the relays for under the AC controls. I've got 10 of them en route that will no longer have the turn dials to adjust the heating time. Rather they will have 2 miniature toggle switches inside with a total of 4 different position possibilities. Each setting will represent a different delay time (5, 10, 15 & 20 minutes).

This will make life MUCH easier if you want to adjust the delay time down the road. The turn dials were a nice feature, but very time consuming to nail down the desired time.

Still need to test them on my end once they arrived, but apparently the changes have been tested on their end and confirmed to function exactly as we had planned.
