Added you up on the list and thank you for the order! I'll send you a PM in a little bit here, but as far as shipping your order is covered  Being in Canada I've been on the receiving end of not being eligible for free shipping which kind of sucks. If you are signing up for a kit and you are either American or Canadian your order gets shipped free of charge!

    Thanks again, much appreciated :)

I have been through the instructions three times now.

Because my garage is little I am going to have to do one side, turn the truck around and pull it back into the garage.

Given this constraint it kinda seems like i should naybe do the passenger side first, put the pass side interior back together, drive the truck in and out of the garage, and then do the drivers door and all the underdash connections in one shot.

Bad idea? I might havr to take the pax side interior out inside the garage, pull to the driveway where i can open both doors to run the fish to pax door, then back into the garage to wire the pax mirror and put the interior back together, then turn the truck around to all the drivers side indoors...

There is no reason why you couldn't start with the passenger side first if you wanted to. I like to leave the panels off until the install is complete just in case it doesn't work and some troubleshooting is needed.

That being said I've only had one time where everything didn't fire right up and that was due to a bad grounding point on the door.

Something to add if you have ProEFX type towing mirrors. I actually have mirrors from 1A Auto (http://www.1aauto.com/2005-14-toyota-tacoma-mirror-pair/i/1amrp01137?f=688916&y=2009), which as far as I can tell are made-in-the-same-factory identical to the ProEFX ones from other retailers.

The replacement towing mirrors come with wiring to route to the cab for the heaters and LED lights. I ran those wires to the kick-panel area, and am now using Up2NoGood's kit to connect the heater units from there. The mirror instructions tell you how to splice into the truck for the LED lights, but basically refer you to this thread for instructions on how to hook up the heated mirror switches.

Also just so you guys know I am running very low on the 15 minute switches for the Left of Steering option. Right now I have 2 in stock, might drop down to 1 if kolbslaw is taking his kit right away. I have an order in with Toyota for a bunch more but they won't be arriving until the first week of October.

I do have all of the other switch combinations in stock though. Once the 15 minute switches are out some order will have to wait to get finished off until the new stock is in.

Unless they have recently changed things I think their instructions are referring people over to the DIY thread on how to wire up the heated mirrors. Linking my kit up to their mirrors is relatively easy though as we discussed, basically just join my mirror leads up to the leads coming from the mirrors.

I'll have to check when I get home but I believe I have 5 or 6 in stock now and a couple more on the way as well.

finished my install. Took about four hours total, including hooking up the led lights for the ProEFX mirrors. Thanks for a great kit and for being available for questions.

Not a problem at all. Good that you have everything wrapped up now. How do you like those ProEFX mirrors? They look like they would be a great help when towing stuff.

I'll be home in about 20 minutes and will let you know. I'm sitting fairly well on them though so if you want to switch over to a 5 minute time I have no problem holding one off to the side for you. If you want to do that just let me know.

4 of the 5 minute timer in stock, 2 more arriving in a couple of weeks. I haven't kept a high stock level on those as more people seem to want the 15 minute timer.

Please put me down for a green under AC 5 minute setup. Thanks for doing this, I was one of the scared non-electrical guys. Jared

If I can get my door panel off then I think I'm good! But I will probably be pleading for anyone in Denver to help me put my electrical system back together in 2 days.

Will add you right now, thanks for the order! I wouldn't be too concerned with the install.... Instructions make it seemed like there is a lot involved but it's really not too bad.

I'll send a PM your way in a minute.
