Received the kit on Monday ahead of schedule. Great packaging and I was impressed with the job on the harnesses. This really is a well put together kit. We have nice weather today so I thought better to get it done sooner than later. Install took me just shy of 4 hours to complete and could have been faster had I not have to duplicate a couple of steps due to installer errors. Completing the wiring for the first mirror took me twice as long as the second, I guess due to not having to stop and read directions as you go since its the same procedure.

The toughest part was dealing with the rubber grommets between the door and the body but again the second time was the charm. Splicing the wires for illumination and tapping in to the fuse box couldn't have been any easier. Worked first time I turned the key and I couldn't be happier with the finished product.

If anyone is doubtful that you can't do it you shouldn't be. The instructions were clear and this was a straightforward install albeit a tad time consuming. Great product Jaimes!!! :yay::bowdown::cheers:

How easy is it to put the switch to the top row of switches? Thinking about changing my location to the upper one but didnt know how to access it.

Looked daunting at first but dig your fingers in there to route the wiring through. I thought I was going to have to loosen up the upper dash at first but just phish it up from below the switch bank.It fits fine and I took the power of the fog lamp button to light the new switch. Easy peasy!

That's awesome and you got it wrapped up just in time for winter. I actually had to use mine for the first time this season a couple of days ago for a light frosting. Yeah those boots can be a real PIA to run the wires through. It does get easier after a few times, but lately I've been running a length of that strong nylon string through the boots with the wires. That way if you ever need to run something again you already have the string ran through that can pull new wiring.

Glad you like it and thanks for the review!

Opened the kit up, very nicely packed. Only question is, is it supposed to come with install instructions? Only piece of paper in the box, was the packing checklist.

I finally had some time to work on the install yesterday. Good thing as we've already had some frost mornings. I must have set the bar to take the longest to complete the job. It took about 7 hours. I'm a senior though and everything takes me longer. The harness and the instructions are top notch. My biggest difficulty was working with the mirror housings themselves. Getting all the wires in and organized in the right place, wire length and then installing them back on the truck took a lot of effort. I had to take a few tries. Big clumsy hands don't help. After persistence it all came together. I was so pleased when the switch light came on first try. Now I will have safer Alberta winters with the heated mirrors. Thanks Jaimes!!

Is it weird that I am looking forward to the first frost?
