Glad to hear you have everything set up. I bet it was a good feeling seeing it flash up after working on it for the day!

Haha it's pretty cool. I had some frost this week I was able to blast off with the heated mirrors. Not weird to look forward to using your new mirrors. You know you have a problem if you find yourself pushing the button just because you can though lol.

    Thanks Jaimes,

Great job on the harness. Installed it last weekend without a hitch.

For anyone who is still on the fence on getting the product, don't wait. Awesome product and instructions. Pretty much plug-n-play. All you need is a little bit of your time.

Missed your post. That's great you are all set up now. I imagine being in Calgary area you aren't too far away from needing them on a daily basis lol. Just starting to get mornings here where the mirrors are getting frosted over. Hope you enjoy them!

Ive used them a few times now in Calgary for dew/light frost but I cant wait for the real stuff to really test these out to their full potential.

The heated mirrors will deal with that. Mine are great so far.

So I just took the mirrors out of the box for the first time. And wondering if this is normal? Drivers side has metal prongs on it. The passenger side does not. Also did anyone else have a ton of fingerprints and dirt all over their mirrors when they took them out of the wrapping

The prongs are normal. Not sure about the fingerprints... would expect a factory making mirrors would be wearing latex gloves.

Why does only one side have the prongs brother?

That's a good question which I've never figured out. When I first got my mirrors I also thought they forgot to put the prongs on the passenger side. Then when I pulled my original mirrors off I found that right from the factory they only put the prongs on the drivers side.

The weird thing is those prongs don't even seem to click into anything inside the housing so it really has me scratching my head as to what purpose they serve at all. Just to be on the safe side I left them in when I put the new mirrors on.
