    You can do it.
I'm a senior, can't see worth a darn and have little patience.
I did the install. It just took a long time (approx 6 hrs).
Take your time, read instructions well and read a little ahead of where you're actually at.
Don't mean to be condescending but if i can do it, most anyone can.
    Good luck.
    By the way Jaimes.
Used the heat for the first time this season.
3 degrees C here this A.M. Heavy dew on the mirrors.
    Thanks again.

I agree with your points above. Pretty much anyone can do it, the amount of time will of course vary from one person to the next.

Haven't quite hit low enough temperatures over here in BC yet to use them, but I'm sure that will be here soon enough lol.

There is an option a couple pages back for integrated turn signals in the mirrors. Check post #1182. My kit supplies genuine Toyota mirrors which don't have the built in turn signals, but it is an option to get a kit without mirrors and go with those Muth mirrors that do have turn signals in them. My harness isn't wired up for turn signals but it is as simple as a couple added ground wires and then two wires tapped into the turn signal circuit to make it work.

So if my original mirrors have turn signals will I lose them of Install the heated ones?

No. The guy asking about them doesn't have turn signals in his mirrors. If you have the turn signal mirrors, they will be unaffected by installing heated mirrors. You'll just be changing the mirror glass itself, not the whole assembly.

Hey man, I'd like to order a kit as well.

Left of steering, 5 minute, green, I'm in Colorado, USA.

Just wanted to check with you that the mirror will be the same though, since I have a 2014, so I think the mirror shape is slightly different from the old style 2nd gen mirrors. Will this kit be exactly like my OEM mirrors? Also, is there any way to adjust the timer? I want the switch with the 5 minute timer, but I'd prefer it to run for a little longer than that, if possible...

    Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay, I've been swamped at work the last couple of days.

Absolutely! Thanks for the order, I'll send you a message shortly.

Yep, all the kits will work for 2005 - 2015 Tacoma

Ok cool, thanks for the order... Much appreciated! Most people aren't aware of the subtle change in the mirror shape which I believe occurred in 2012. The mirrors with my kit will be an exact match in shape to what you currently have. As far as the switch there isn't really a simple way to extend the timer on that particular switch since the timing is built directly into the switch itself.

    I'll send you a pm

The same shit everyone else has.
    Question....

I was gonna make another thread but I feel this question fits here and should yield more answers being posted here.

    1. Whats the most common time setting?

    2. For those of you with heated mirrors, do you cycle your heaters multiple times or is it more of a one and done type of thing? Im located in Pittsburgh so winters get cold and shitty here, but cant remember if my mirrors stay clean once the snow/frost is off of them (its not cold enough here yet to check on my truck) or if the fog back up.

    Thanks
