Mirrors are now back in stock for Canadians :canada:

A lot of them were pre-sold while I was out of stock so there is only a couple of pairs but I have more on order.

Did you ever get the illumination wires hooked up? I have the same switches you do ('07, not OR, 4x4, MT), and just moved my heated mirror switch to the upper row, next to the fog light switch. I tapped into an extraneous wire harness that is (I think) for the rear diff elocker I don't have.

If you have it next to the fog light switch, you can just use that. That's what I used.

It will make the truck capable of 2wd low range. When you put your truck into 4lo and then shift into L what you get is a high torque crawl speed output. The problem is you also get major binding in the front drivetrain in this setting whenever you turn the wheels if your not on loose gravel, snow etc.

In 2lo you get the same benefits but without the bind up risks. Useful for things like backing up heavy trailers, loading / unloading boats at launch ramps, rock crawling, steep inclines and declines with switch backs that aren't on loose trail.

Full disclosure though is this is just having the software finished off now, then it will be going into testing. So still a little ways to go.

Just a quick update for you guys that I'll be out of town (on a beach with beer in hand ) Feb 9th - 21st. The latest you can place an order and have it shipped will be Feb 8th.

Also not the usual harness that I build but a cool custom one I'm working on for someone switching over to 4Runner mirrors with the approach lighting. The harness will add heat, approach lighting and also transfer over the turn signals and mirror adjustments. I'll be switching over to the 4Runner mirrors soon as well.

^^^this! Because imagining a gremlin living in your basement soldering and looming wires sounds entertaining. And since he would be living in Canada, free healthcare so no worries!

I did! Its a 2015 dcsb offroad. The 1st gens are hard to find without frame rust in my area. Good luck on the search! So now the real question is do I want the 4runner mirrors now?

Thanks very much! Yes they do, but I had the signals from the factory so that system was already in place for me.
