Give me a sec and I'll copy and paste what I've written to a few people in PM regarding price. Some of these are sold / reserved already but there are still a few left from the ones I've got.

    Pricing

I haven't worked out the price 100% yet for when I'm finally able to sell these on a larger scale.

For the initial units I'm probably going to be at $230. That will include the PCB, mounting case, harness and delivery. On those first units I'll be asking for payment by mailed check rather than PayPal as there are some items I need to purchase to have these made where the vendor will not accept PayPal. Unfortunately as a Canadian Paypal will let me keep a USD balance but if I withdraw funds they convert it to CAD which I would then need to re convert back to USD to order more supplies. It's a bit of a process and ends up evaporating a fair bit of money in the double conversion.

Payment doesn't need to be sent until I have the software fully tweaked and am ready to ship.

Otherwise I can tell you that once I get everything sorted out and can sell these on a larger volume I plan to run a group buy where the price likely will be right around $200. The only problem is I really can't say at this point when that might happen.

So we would turn the switch on, then move the 4wd selector switch from 2hi to 4lo?

Yep turn switch on, you'll see a dash confirmation that you activated the PCB then shift into 4lo.

What happens if you turn it off while in 2lo with the selector switch still in 4lo?

Man you know all the right questions to ask! lol

Initially that was an issue that would result in the truck going into 4lo when you powered it back on since the PCB is only powered when the truck is running.

If you shut the truck off in 2lo and want to remain in 2lo when you power back up you do the following:

Additional switch option - leave the 4wd switch in the 4lo position and make sure the additional switch is pressed in. The PCB will detect that and when you power up the truck it will instantly continue to prevent the ADD from locking.

4wd switch option - place the switch between 4hi and 4lo and then turn the truck on. Similar to above it will result in the PCB instantly preventing the ADD from locking on power up.

If you don't do the above on power up then the truck ADD will lock and you will be in 4lo rather than 2lo.

I mean, if you just simply turn the PCB off while you are in 2lo.

While the thread is bumped anyway, just wanted to mention my heated mirror kit from up2nogood has been on my truck through 2 Alaska winters now, works great, never blown a fuse.

For the money this is one of the best mods i have done to my gen 2.

Ah I see. The PCB won't allow for that to happen. To disable the PCB you need to return the switch to the 2hi position. The only way to force that situation would be if you shut the truck off essentially taking the power source away from the PCB.

Awesome, I bet it gets some good use out in Alaska!

There is exactly 1 more available, if you want it just need to let me know. Payment is by mailed check $230. I'm expecting I should be able to ship in one to two weeks from now, just some minor software tweaks are needed but the boards and harnesses are prebuilt.
