    I usually don't sell individual items. It's not that I won't, but I get absolutely no discount through Toyota, so it just works out cheaper to buy the item yourself.

    Now that's depressing lol. No doubt it has been a LONG journey!

    I got the 2lo box installed. Very nice! Instructions are easy to comprehend and the box just plugs right in. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being putting gas in the tank and 10 being changing head gaskets, this is about a 1.5

    I tried it out in the field and it works perfect.

    Thanks Jaimes for all your hard work on this.

    What sort of time frame would I be looking at to also get a set of heated mirrors? Specifically I am interested in the mirror adjust switch kit.

    Install on the 2 low mod was crazy easy! I took the raft out yesterday after the install. I used 2 low four different times yesterday between the boat ramps and backing up the trailer at home. No more feathering the clutch in 2 high. No more binding the front end in 4 low on high traction surfaces. I did use 4 low at the take out because I was driving on river rock.

    I couldn't possibly be happier with this mod!!!!

    There is no benefit to the dedicated switch. It's just bling. You still need to use the stock dial switch to activate it.

    This is correct. With a dedicated switch is no real benefit, just user preference. The 2 methods of getting in 2lo would be something like this.

    Dedicated Switch
    push in switch, wait for dash confirmation, shift into 2lo same way you would normally shift into 4lo

    4wd Switch
    hold 4wd switch between 2hi and 4hi for 2 seconds, wait for dash confirmation, shift into 2lo same way you would normally shift into 4lo

    Very similar really. The only reason you need to push the switch or hold between 2hi and 4hi is so that the module knows you wish to go into 2lo rather than 4lo.

    It seems to me that if you think you will have situations where you will be shutting the truck off and restarting it repeatedly, while remaining in 2LO, it would be best to add the switch. The way I understand it, with the dedicated switch, you can shut the truck off and restart it as much as you want, and it will remain in 2LO with no further interaction. If you do not have the extra switch, you will be in 4LO when you restart, until you do the 4WD switch tap dance. For me, it will be 2LO, do the job, go back to 2HI and shut the truck off, so I have no need for the extra switch.

    To go into 2Lo...does the truck gear selector need to be in Neutral?


    Same with 2Lo back to 2Hi?

    Will these create and conflict with the 2Lo addition?

    It did not conflict with my ABS kill mod, granted I didn't press the button while in 2lo. I don't have the locker anytime mod so I can't speak to that one.
