Sounds good. So just to be sure, you would just need the kit as it is normally made, supplied with the add a fuse? It seemed the majority on the list wanted to wait until the end of summer for the kits, so I plan to start having these go out in September. I'll have a few kits available earlier if anyone wants it shipped before September. If it's something you want to get taken care of earlier you just need to let me know

I'm from Merritt which isn't too well known. It's around Kamloops and Kelowna area.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
First snow that stayed on the ground was September 7th last year. By October my mirrors are in their perpetual state of frozen over. Wouldn't complain if I didn't have the kit until September, but earlier would be nice so I could find time to install before I actually need them :)

Yep looks like you and I are sharing the same weather lol. Well just let me know how you want to go about it. The plan is to start in early September, and I will get some kits done in advance, but if you end up deeper on that list then there could also be some delay. To keep things fair for everyone though I'm only releasing a few kits in advance and those will be the only early sales. Otherwise we will be working with whatever position you are on the list. I know that may come off to some as harsh, but I think the fairest system to roll with is first come first served on the list.

You absolutely can... Thanks for the order!

I guess to elaborate, I will probably make 3 kits available for left of steering wheel option and 3 kits for Under the AC. Those can be purchased early by anyone who claims them, but is also first come first served and once they are gone I likely won't be selling off any more until September. I've already made the 3 kits for left of steering and next week will put together 3 kits for under the AC.

The only thing I do ask is if you get an early kit it would be great if you can post up on your thoughts on the kit and even a few install pics if you are inclined. This I think would be to the benefit of other members

If it gets to my name with a early made available I will take it. My father lives near vernon so I could just get him to pick it up. Keep me posted and enjoy your weekend and I would for sure take lots of pictures if I got one early.

So the order on the list isn't the order of buyers / kit shipping ?

It is... come September the list will absolutely rule who gets shipped first. There will be a few kits shipped out earlier for those who want to install before the end of summer, but will make no delayed effect for anyone currently on the list for when the kit is widely available in September.

There are a couple of reasons I'm doing it this way. The first was that the majority of the people on the list seemed to want to wait until later in summer to get this which is fully understandable given there is no need for heated mirrors in summer. However I'm sure there are some that would like to get a head start on installing this while the weather is nice out. If it worked purely off of the list and no kits until September then nobody gets the ability for an early install.

The second reason is I'd like to get a head start on making up these kits so that come September I'm not feeling overwhelmed. I've put up a good amount of money into this so far, but given the number of people signed up so far and I expect the list may be quite a bit bigger in September.... some cash in from a few kits would help to get more supplies in and be better prepared for everyone in September.

What I can say is selling a few kits off early will have no negative effect on anyone on the list who prefers to wait until September, but will be helpful to me to round up some supplies in bulk and get things in order.

Hope that clarifies... I know it can be hard at times to keep everyone happy, but I think this approach should be good for most people.

Okay ALBtacoma I'll change you over for onto the early list. As far as your Dad picking it up, Vernon is still a bit of a drive but I am going to be in Penticton next month I believe which is closer to vernon. Or if none of that looks like it will work out then I can always just ship it directly over to ya.

Your call on whether you want to take it right away, or I expect to post up install instructions for this next weekend. I'd be a bit hesitant with someone trying the install without instructions... I provided some extra wire lengths to avoid issues, but if someone tried some crazy routing method different than what it was built for they could find some length issues.

With that said, I am off now and won't be back until Sunday!
