If I where to add heated seats out where I go ahead and start on that I took the cover off where the switch goes into and there are wires there so I’m wondering if every truck has heated seats just not the switch’s or would I have to get different seats and the widening it just there?

did my tundra, not pre wired. Just find a power source or to the battery with a relay harness. Add switches

You would need alot more than just the switches, none of the rest of the wiring is there.
Also you would need the seat heaters, control modules, fuse, and relay.

I have an 05 which definitely did not come with any kind of wiring. I took my seats to an upholster for them to install the heat pads under the seat covers. The heated seat kit came with all the necessary wiring and switches. It was a pretty straightforward install. It's been flawless for many years now.

Don't mind the dust, but here's where i mounted my switches.
