How are the instructions for the Rostras? I'm not really good at tapping into wires or wiring in general.

The instructions were pretty bad but there's few videos all showing how to do it properly you can watch on YouTube that is much better than the instructions

I've watched a few of them. Just wish there was a wiring specific one. Don't want to buy until I know I can do the install. Probably easier than it looks

Try watching a video on fuse tapping if you don't know how to do it. I don't know how to do it but I had my roommate who is good at wiring do it for me

This is the brand I have. Purchased an add a fuse and used the 15 amp auxiliary power location at the fuse box. Works perfect. Instructions specifically state to not wire to battery.

Then go with OEM. Should be able to buy replacement parts. They make Tacoma's with heated seats. Hard to believe they don't sell the replacements.

Now, that doesn't mean you pay a billion dollars for it. Most OEM parts through Toyota are outrageous in terms of price.

This company sells one that claims its for 2016+ Toyota models. Might be your best option

I have these also. They work great, and heat up quickly. Mainly got them because Fiance hates the cold so has the heater blasting during the winter, and well, I'm tired of sweating when it's -30 out in Maine. She turns on her seat, I set the temp to where I'm comfortable and we're both happy

I used crimestopper heated seats in my truck twice now. Had them in the bench seat and now again in the buckets. I recommend them.

Anybody used factory Toyota switches for an aftermarket install?
