My ac fan stopped working. No fan period on heat or ac. My truck has 221,000 miles on it; all mine. Is there a fuse or time for a diagnostic look?
    Thanks

‘05 is going to be due for a replacement fan speed resistor, fan, or both. I’ve replaced them all in my ‘09, as well as the heater control panel because the connector on the back burned.

Give the blower a couple solid hits with it on, if it takes off it's bad, if not get you a test light/meter if you don't have one and start checking powers and grounds starting at the blower motor and working back.

The blower resistor isn't used when the switch is on high so if the OP has no high speed either it can't be that, not saying it can't be bad as well but it will not cause the blower not to work on high.

Before I pulled stuff apart, I’d try and see if it works on High speed.
Then go with what my finds are of that test.

The new updated plug an resistor are square.
See it here with part # - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-blower-motor-resistor-wiring.624320/

@Jimmyh has the connection colors here.

If it’s the connector for the dial, I haven’t seen a pigtail assembly for it.
You have to buy the plug and wire terminals for it.

If your dial control is melted make sure you get the correct one.
    Thanks to @Jimmyh again.

my neighbor had the same problem..circulation fan operated only on high. After viewing several Youtube videos and reading this thread I recommended buying the Toyota OEM replacement resistor and wiring harness end. In the interim, I unplugged the harness to see if there was any discoloration, and also to show him what was involved in replacing the resistor and harness end. Surprisingly, when I plugged the connector back in and tried the switch, all positions worked. Bottom line is that the resistor is functioning and the one contact that was discolored is making contact again. We'll see how long this works before replacing the parts. BTW his Tacoma is a 2005 TRD Sport, and the switch problem came up recently. YMMV.
