Up until about a week ago, I wasn't able to get heat in the cab (live in FL only need it a couple days a yr. so I wasn't too concerned). Then, suddenly all I could get WAS the heater w/no AC. Seems to be in the selector apparatus (guess) as I haven't found problems with the thermostat or heater core.
    Where should I start looking?

    I’m pretty sure a 04 moves vents with servos(electrical )
as opposed to cables, like my 96(mechanical)

    do a search
You will see that there are 2 servos that are usually the culprit
    Located under dash
One is easy to get to, the other…..well be prepared to contort your body like a pretzel to get too
They are called a specific name that I have forgotten
