Heater blower motor???

    My motor is driving me nuts! I need to get a new one asap! I or ready tryed cleaning and lubing the bearings. Nothing has helped get rid of the annoying squeeking/chearping.

    Anyone know if the after market ones, or even the one that RockAuto.com sells are any good?

    Or should I just caugh up the $150 the dealer wants for the new upgraded one......Thanks!

    Well, there certainly isn't a whole lot to them other than the bracketing. As long as the aftermarket model is going to line up and seal against the blower assembly properly I don't see were you could go wrong.

    what year is your truck, i was having the same problem in mine and i took it to the dealer, they replaced it for free...warranty issue

    My truck is a 07, and thats a 3/ 30K mile warrenty part.
    So Im SOL there.....
    I geuss I will just try out the aftermarket one, before spending the 150 the dealer wants.... Thanks for the input.

    do you have an oreillys near you? i like buying parts from them because they have refurbished parts and if you bring in your old one, they give you a pretty good discount on the part you are buying...

    I hope its a descent one...
