Drain tube is relatively easy to find (passenger side engine compartment looking down the firewall) I noticed mine wasn't draining well last summer and just used my compressor to blow some air through it and it started draining like a champ again.

3,4,5 all point to evaporator freeze up. Can you drive your truck without using the defroster continuously on a 5 hour trip?
Also, if the drain is plugged, it can cause condensation on the windows. It will not stop the heater. Think about a sauna.

In the winter I've been driving with the defroster on almost all the time, but from now on I'll leave it off until I need it.

I agree as I stated back on Post # 5.

Also as I suggested get out and LOOK at what the compressor is doing when running. Open the hood. The compressor should cycle on and off as commanded by the thermistor. IF it is not cycling on and off and running the compressor constantly it WILL freeze up the evaporator.

This is a really easy test and will only take a few minutes to verify if it is working correctly for the thermistor.

Hey now, we can’t have the both of you getting banned at once. Lol.
Although Jimmy is past due for his monthly banning. Lol

    Seriously though, OP.
    It does sound A/C related.

Another person that won't write directly what's on their mind and feels the need to bash others only online through innuendos. You got something to say then say it.

I get AC/defrost operation incorrect and it has turned into a bashing me thread instead. Get a life.

I’ll take that as a feeble attempt at admitting to being mistaken.

    Accepted.

You were pretty damned adamant that you were right and everyone else was dumber than a box of rocks.

Cardboard was permabanned shortly after you came around.

A feeble attempt? Lmao! I literally wrote that I was incorrect, how am I supposed to.be more direct than that?

Yes I was adamant, but I never wrote anything even close to calling everyone else as dumb as a box of rocks. I even wrote I had respect for you personally so how is that calling you dumber than a box of rocks? Ridiculously overly sensitive. Trust me, it'll never happen again.

Because the information I posted was incorrect and I hate spreading misinformation. That's the only reason. I'm human and get sh!t wrong sometimes and I don't have any problems with admitting I'm not always correct.

For the record I did write that I didn't know Tacomas electrical systems. Bashing me because a unit's power light isn't on when it is actually on is just ludicrous and is searching for an excuse to bash me, it's pathetic, and is typical of online chit chat because it's online.

And I'm still very happy that the OP's truck's problem was diagnosed here on TW because that's the only thing I was trying to accomplish. I assumed my 36 years of professional electrical troubleshooting would help the OP out - which it obviously didn't. In fact my input indirectly jacked the entire thread up (still).

I wonder how many days it'll take to get the f___ off of my back? Not that I care or that my feelings are somehow hurt - it's the nature of being online and we have anonymous usernames (required/requested by TW).

I think you have your colors backwards. I'd use green for on and red for off.
