Sometimes I fear what passes as a reputable product is simply the one that comes with the best packaging and "case candy."

I bought 2 sets of these wheels spacers from this guy. Never had an issue with hem. I had 1.5" spacer on 3rd gen 4runner for almost 2 years and never had a single issue with them. I also bought a set for the Tacoma but then sold them because I got aftermarket wheel for my truck.

I take a different stance on this topic. Wheel spacers are NOT rocket science, but where the math does come in is when you start spacing it out over, lets arbitrarily say, 1/2 inch. When you push that wheel out farther the load on the bearings shifts and pretty soon you are using up any "over-engineering" that Toyota may have built into the original design, and at 1.25" you are pushing that design much more than 1/2" spacer. But spacers are no harder on the vehicle than if you had wheels with the same resultant offset. Of course adding spacers is one ADDITIONAL place for failure no matter how much you pay for them.

I bet Spidertrax cost about $50 to make 4, the rest is marketing, profit and hype.

All-Pro sells spacers at at $178 for a set of four. I don't think $157 in the eBay listing is that far-fetched as to be suspicious.
