My idle tends to go up heigher than normal when the engine becomes heated. So I sometimes turn on my a/c to calm it down a little...would be really happy if a more experienced member Could assist me on it..

1st clean the throttle body and the Idle air control along with the Mass Airflow sensor with the "Correct" cleaners and if that does not cure it the Throttle positioning Sensor may need replacing.

    X's 2!!

Like mentioned use MAF cleaner for the mass air flow sensor. Do not use carb cleaner or anything else!!

Fyi after a good TB and IAC cleaning its typical for guys to have a high idle fur a bit. If everything is in working order that high idle will be corrected after a drive cycle or a few. Sometimes it varies! But its just the truck relearning itself and typically cleaning those items cause a fairly big change in your trucks vitals so to speak so that adds to the "relearning" it has to do. They can sometimes really be nasty with crap! Most of which is oily mist type crap from the pcv breathing and sending that stuff right through the intake! Disconnect the battery and unplug the MAF before cleaning of course!
