As for riding: There are some neat roads through some of the "fields" back out here and that weather is getting bearable again for day trips.

 

Not sure if they're still in season but anyone know where to buy paw paws around here without having to drive out to Paw Paw?

 

What is a paw paw? I’ve been to paw paw several times but was unaware there was an item of interest to be purchased there.

 

I've read it kind of tastes like mango and grows in these here parts. Been anxious to try one since mango is my favorite fruit.

Martins might have it. Wifey has been getting some crazy stuff that I expect usually only at the "import stores". Will have to ask her if she has seen any elsewhere.

 

Never heard of Martins, but it looks like there's one in Charlestown that we'll need to check out

 

The wife just stopped by Martins in Charlestown and no dice on the pawpaw. Any other places that may carry them? Might be a good excuse to ride the bike out to Paw Paw this weekend to aimlessly search for the elusive fruit. You'd think the town named after it would sell them somewhere.

 

The last time I was in paw paw the only open establishment was the dollar general. I don’t remember a produce isle.

I don't know about Charles Town but ORI in Winchester isn't too far. I haven't been there in years, though.
