    They wear uneven (even when tire is properly balanced) and they wear fast. I think that is the reason why they are cheap. There was an image on TW where that showed a General tire with a big bulge on the side - about the size of a baseball.

    I had some Generals many years ago. They were all season street tires. My old man bought them for me b/c they were cheap. They didn't last the 40k they were rated. We got them at Sam's and they gave us some credit towards another set of tires. Got some BFG Long Trail T/A's that were great. I've heard people say the Grabbers are okay, but I'll never buy a set.
