i installed the hella 500ff behind the grill and everything was working perfectly. i was aiming my projectors the other day and i think i pulled on the wire on accident, the light was on and it lit up quite bright and then went out slowly. the right light continued to work. i tried to rewire it and nothing. so i went back to where i bought it and changed the lamp housing and bulb. i installed the new one and nothing. i didnt ground the new one but i dont think it made a difference.... as i was pulling the wire apart, the wire running to the non working bulb touched a bolt and the fuse blew. i bought new fuses and plugged them in, wired p both lights. again only the right light works. should i cut the length running to the non working light completely off and quick connect crimp a new length of wire from the running light section and wire it to the non working lamp? should i ground the non working lamp? any help pleasseee.

The light needs to be grounded, so connect the gnd on the non-working light. Maybe something else got fried? Did you check all the fuses/relays?
