The game in question was a game I joined; can't let Helldivers go without aid when they need it

I think with the release of 95% arc resistant armors, we will be seeing the Illuminate real soon

 

Interesting theory. I thought the purpose of this armor was to be able to survive arc thrower PvP battles with your team.

Had some good level 7 terminid dives on Friday. Cleaned up pretty much everything objective and sample wise on the first 3 missions, except for the super rare which we didnt know only spawn at dick rock. We were too busy having fun to google it. Second set of three missions was going swimmingly, until on the last of the three missions, with 90 seconds left to extract, the game crashed for the host / all of us and we lost everything.

I was getting frustrated on Saturday with dying a lot and have been playing the new expeditions mud runner game to fill the void that not wheeling lately has left in my heart. its less stressful driving over rocks than dying to bile titans.

 

Then why the intro to the new weapon loadouts as well?

Just a theory cause again, I never played part one but read up on what they use in their arsenal

For me its not so much a question of if they are coming, it's just when. In HD1, I recall that even within a given season / intergallactic war, I think they always brought in the third faction late. The command center is set up for a third faction just like HD1 and in theory, they have the basics of all the enemies developed. I will be pleasantly surprised if they come here in the first season, but since they ( the devs) have made no mention of a third faction and no commitment to a timeline, I'd rather just avoid disappointment by not speculating that its coming anytime soon. I think they are still fine tuning the balance. I don't think there is any way they are dropping a new faction until the puppet master is done playing with us on bugs and bots for a few cycles.

I didn't mean it that way at all. Your guess is as good as mine as to when they drop. Like i said, i hope its sooner and not DLC content i have to pay for. That'd be destiny 1 all over again. Just cause I played HD1 before doesn't mean I know any more than you about what and when the devs are gonna do. couldnt even tell you if its the same team. I 'm just another cog in the system, dying for democracy.

 

This is just a reboot of the first game, there is a third faction and there is allot more content coming.

 

and its a damn good reboot. if you've never played HD1 before I think its worth every dime. if you played HD1 before i'd tell you wait for a sale or till they do something different with it. its not one of those games that you need to play the first one to appreciate 2nd, and youre not missing anything if you join the party later. theres no story.

I hope there is ongoing content. The silos last week were new to me as far as a challenge, and i guess there's some flying bugs that i havent seen yet.

 

I think HD1 and all the dlc is under ten bucks right now on steam.

Most printers are a 220x220x220 cube or thereabouts, so it would need to be printed in pieces and assembled. I just checked Printables, and there's at least one that is split up into multiple parts. Pretty cool.

I have one member I asked, and really to make it easier I'll have to compile all the files first so he can comb through them

Point to consider for newer players, you don’t have to fight every robot/bug in the mission. Stopping to fight all of them slows you down considerably and can easily lead to mission failures at higher levels. Recently I’ve noticed allot of the “I’ve got to get them all” mentality when answering SOS beacons for lower level players and then listing to them have a whinge when I don’t help them keep trying to Alamo some random place on the map. Stay on mission and keep moving, you can visit all the primary and sub objectives as well as places of interest while engaging in heaps of combat by just staying in motion during the times that you aren’t waiting for the mission objective to be completed.

Great point for others to remember (or realize) as added kills does not mean more experience, etc.
