Quasar is so good. The only downside is the charge time with the shake. It can toss the aim a little bit, but for infinite ammo on something that has enough punch to drop anything in the game (with enough shots) it's an auto include for me. I've got a pretty standard loadout if I'm in Suicide Mission or above.

Sickle - because it's a Liberator with less ammo stress
Revolver - to punch medium armor that the Sickle can't
Quasar - Anti-armor without ammo stress
Shield Pack - Adds survivability to lighter armors without impacting mobility
Orbital Rail Cannon - Supplemental anti-armor for when lots of chargers, tanks, or Titans show up it can thin the herd
Eagle Airstrike - Hurts/kills everything, predicable AOE, smokes bases and bug holes, and rapid repeated uses (3 runs before rearm if you've got the weapons bay upgrade)

 

Nice loadout I'll have to give it a go.
I need to start unlocking the first Warbond again I did all the subs for the most part.
That new explosive sniper is pretty fn badass too....

 

Ha, funny that's been my loadout for almost 2 months

Except I actually use the breaker instead of the sickle

If going bugs, I switch to the redeemer for my secondary and run a 500kg with eagle air

 

I ran the breaker for a long time, but I preferred the liberator. The sickle gives really similar performance/use if you just blitz it, but if you can burst and cool it down it's basically no ammo stress. Let's the other guys in my groups get the ammo cans on the map and saves resupply drops for 'nades and stims.

Played a few rounds last night; there are freaking level 90s and shit around

 

Hopefully I can get some time in after work today.

It's a meme on the artillery juggle bit for moving faster. Next time you are getting the shells for it, rapidly pick up and drop them as you walk. You'll move faster.

 

yeah I've loaded up a few artillery shells in my time...

I don't worry about rushing them either, unless there is a titan or some other bad news thing closing in.

Not that that's the point of the game, but it sure is fkn fun....

they need to up the strats to 5 total plus the bonus one would be fun.

I have a love hate relationship with mortars. Ultra effective, but I'm always the guy that some solo little enemy sneaks up on and hugs so that I get a 3 round ass beating from my team mate's volley.

Sometimes they do experiments and give all divers on a planet a specific stratagem. Last one I saw was on a bug planet all divers got the Eagle Rocket Strike as a bonus. I'd not used it before, and certainly wouldn't use it in place of others I take, but it did come in handy a few times. Nice to get to try it out.

Quasar is super nice. Makes me think they might nerf it a bit, because it basically invalidates the EA-T, Recoilless Rifle, and even competes with the Autocannon, IMO.

 

I just watch the mortar trails man, but yeah they can decimate the team at times...

 

anyone else notice the Alpha Charger that can seemingly tank (3) E-ATs?

 

You mean the one with the weird head? I played two days ago last and they still just take one shot.

 

yeah... it's got like a beak. i must have been aiming wrong then. will Democratize more tonight and report my findings.
