Dude just came in half-cocked as if everyone was supposed to understand what they said.

Tons of games have required linking, etc.

Ubisoft games for Assassins Creed and Splinter Cell as well as others, Rockstar for Grand Theft Auto, and several others I'm forgetting.

 

i use steam and it asked me to link....what's the issue. setting up an account took all of 7 mins

They’re crying because of how the ps network gets hacked and then your data can be stolen.

 

Everyone gets hacked eventually.

 

we've all been hacked by major security breaches with medical and or loan companies in one way or another....

 

Dont have debit card info on my steam account, just a CC. easier to get money back if it does get hacked.

 

Well, either way, it's a personal choice. Some people like to minimize their digital footprint. If you don't like the game enough to deal with an additional account, get a refund. I run into sites all the time that want me to register an account to get access to some information, or get a coupon code, etc. I usually opt not to do it.

Played just a few 8s and 9s yesterday for some quick supers even though I only need 1 thing to unlock, still just level 67 though

I stopped playing a lot altogether lately

 

What's the opinion on the last patch that "nerfed" a few things?

Personally I'm not really bothered, even though both the Sickle and Quasar Cannon are my go to items. The Sickle getting the heat sinks cut in half makes other weapons stack up a little better, so I actually feel like I can go with other weapons and not be an unnecessary burden. Same for the QC. The cooldown between shots is still completely usable, and the unlimited ammo and open backpack slot still makes it best in class IMO.

 

I didn't even notice the drop from 12 to 6 magazines in the Eruptor. I still rarely run out, if at all. The QC, I'm not sure. I played with it for the first time last night and it did seem like the cooldown was noticeably longer, however I don't know if that's only because I know it is.

 

QC is a bit longer between shots, but still feels totally usable. I don't like the Eruptor, so IDK how it's adjustment hits it. The watchdogs took a hit, though, I didn't really use them much anyway.

 

Not fully minus psn being a pile of trash it's also the fact that psn is banned in many countries so people that now have the game won't be able to play it. And no a VPN won't work with PSN for what ever bs reason they have

 

I find PSN to be a decent service. Don't love it, don't hate it. But this whole community reaction is like the college protests -- a bunch of people unaffected by the situation lashing out just for the sake of what? Being mad at something?

How big is the actual issue? How many people live in country where they can't even create a PSN account and have purchased the game? My guess is not very many, and those people probably have other more important things to worry about. Nobody has posted any numbers, just a bunch of bullshit.

 

I've personally never liked PSN I've always preferred Xbox or PC. It's more of the community not liking the fact it was optional and then Sony forcing the company to switch which I understand. More and more PC games are getting like this and it's kinda annoying tbh I'm tired of having to download launcher after launcher just to play a game I bought off steam... If the game can't be launched from steam then why even offer it? But that's my gripe with it. I personally got.blred of hell divers months ago so this doesn't effect me but I understand why people are upset being the ones who can't even play it... Unsure on the numbers but it is a good amount of countries that can't even open the game now which sucks.. it's just like Ubisoft turning off the servers for the crew which is a only online game.. but it is what it is at this point. Imma just play stardew with the gf lol

 

Except it was never optional. Months ago at launch the had it up, but you could temporarily skip it. It was known up front, but people don't read. They just click "agree" without a thought.

 

That's incorrect... There has already been post showing it and I've never gotten it when I first got the game same with a lot of people I play with... this was something that was changed and they added it a few months back but the devs at the time were trying to fight it for PC users but Sony won over. This is why the dev has apologized
