Their community managers (idiot job title) are shit. Baskin and the Spitz guy have both pissed off a bunch of their customers. Both have been insulting and dismissive. Funny that only the guy gets canned for it, though.

 

has anyone played this via Steam on a handheld other than a Steam Deck....like an Odin 2 Pro?

I just ordered one, and i'm really hoping i can play this one...I don't have a PS5 so remote play is out of the question. I know this hand held will do steam games but can't find any info on Helldivers

 

Well, Helldivers isn't actually rated for playing on Steam and the way people got it to work is by manually installing the game outside of Steam via Desktop mode.

They do this for other games as well.

If Steam can play such games, then a more powerful device should have no issue. I'm not familiar at all with the Odin but all these other 3rd party devices have support for 3rd party software to play anything.

 

hmmm not sure thats right. I bought HD2 on steam for my computer and have had no issues.

It's become pretty easy spreading democracy; some people can make the game fun but if you're always doing the objectives then?...

Not sure how people are getting to level 100 without burnout!

 

Agreed I'm lvl 45 I think and it's def. getting a little too repetitive.
And with these a-holes buffing the fun weapons it's not a good combination.
That new Warbond from the other day is shit too....nothing added to get excited about.

 

I'm level 71 still and all I do is join random games at various levels - lower levels to help newbies (and they love it) or higher levels to collect super samples.

Have most of the last warbond opened and nothing is even remotely good, well aside from the thermal impact and new "call helldivers" victory pose.

I need a sort of "boss" or some other new thing to fight.

 

I think if you have a group of friends you regularly play with it is still fun. I have no desire to drop in on randoms -- I will run solo before doing that, or just find something else to do. Our Destiny clan kind of switched over since Destiny has nothing interesting to do (talk about a shit show on the dev side, they have Arrowhead beat by miles) so I usually have people to play with.

Idfk I'll have to switch to some new loadouts or something.
Don't get me wrong I'm still playing and having fun idk I guess most of the weapons are just meh.
I have been using TF out of the 500kg now that I get 2 with the ship upgrade.
I still need to close out the main Warbond as it is.
You def. see a lot better rando play quality at lvl 7.

Blowing a chargers head off with the QC and seeing the fkr doing a barrel roll for 100 yds is still entertaining AF.....

 

The 500kg is my permanent load out

And I've become so good at tossing it that I know how close I can be (or teammates) without killing them

But seeing chargers fly is always awesome!

The other day my leg actually got stuck to a charger and I kept taking damage until I died by "impact"

My body kept hitting the body of the charger as it wouldn't stop charging

Talk about a weird glitch
