Many do. I don't yet. My thing @ this point is I want to get a set of wheels that I could care less about. The ones on the truck are Dark Grey Alloy that I would love to shelter from the snow and salt of the NE. & Ya, mount on some snow tires that would come off in the Spring and put back on the good wheels.

    Like, so many.
I’ve wondered about this. You definitely want to look in the winter too, right? Or is it just like, “Just get through this and move on.”

I guess you also bought a phone with no camera, and that’s why there’s no pics of your sweet new truck.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    Welcome!

I drove a 2WD (RWD) Explorer in Milwaukee for 3 winters. It fuggin' sucked. Slid all over the place.

I no longer live in Wisconsin, but I learned my lesson. I've only had AWD or 4WD vehicles since then.

As only my 2nd post here (FNG) I'm sure to get hung out to dry but my 2 cents would be if you're over 50 y/o, live in the Northeast, minus maybe Buffalo + Ft. Kent type locations then driving in typical 3-6" snow or a dirt road with ONLY 2wd with good winter sneakers should be a walk in the park just sayin'

2wd Tacoma with blizzaks and 200 lbs in the bed would tackle most winter situations with some driving skill

You'd be surprised. I bought my 2WD single cab in Oct 2012 and drove it almost every day year round, except if it was really bad out we would take my wife's Rav4. The Chevy Colorado I had before was 4x4 and it was terrible in winter.

Some do some don't. I never have. Some do it to just swap out the rims as well..

    I'll send you something inbox.

I actually had bought 150 pounds of sandbags when I first bought the Tacoma (at the time my pool had a sand filter) and left them in the bed for a couple of weeks, took them out to haul something, and forgot to put them back in. Never needed to do it since.
