    Hello all,

I am loving my 2016 Taco. I do want to tailor it to my personal preferences though.

Any help with ideas of how to lower the drivers seat a couple of inches are appreciated.

Any ideas for getting more power from the 3.5, especially at altitude are appreciated.

People that troll these threads just to state a contrary opinion or the obvious, or point out that the seat height is the same as when I bought it, you are not appreciated, get a life that is more important than seeing your negativity in a forum.

Don't think you can lower it, unless you change the brackets that mount it to the cab. Ive seen guys add washers to get height though. As far as the 3.5, not much there until some tunes are released, etc. I know AFE and others have some intakes now, should give you a bit more power.

What about the possibility of reducing the thickness of the seat?

Thanks all. I am going to pull the seat and start disassembling it, see what I can do. If I can get more than an inch it will be worth it. Looks like I have to take it out of the vertical seat frame rails that run longitudinally. I'll post results.
As far as more power, hopefully the aftermarket makes up for Toyota pulling the plug on the superchargers. I camp in the Canadian Rockies often, hwy gets near 5000 ft, I really notice the thin air.

    Cheers
