Hey guys, my name is Steven and 2 days ago i bought my first Taco, a 2020 TRD Off-Road.

I've only ever owned coupes before this. My very first car was an '86 Porsche 944 NA. My latest vehicle, Diana, was an '01 Porsche Boxster S. Sadly, her motor must have caught Covid and combined with her old age of 132k miles, died on me 3 blocks from my house. Total engine failure...

My plan was to have Diana hold me over until the 2021 Ford Bronco came out, which i have a reservation for. That's obviously not possible anymore so i went with my second option, the Toyota Tacoma. And holy shit, do i love it so far!

I've only had it for 2 days and i already have a list of all the things i want to get for it. This is going to be a dangerous one, i can feel it. But, anyways, sorry for the wall of text and thanks for letting me join you guys!

Welcome to the world of Tacoma! Once I bought my first Toyota truck (in 1994), I knew I would always have one in my driveway!

Sounds like the ole IMS bearing failure finally "gave up the ghost" on your Boxer. Very sad Porsche engine designers dropped the ball on that design!

That's awesome, I'm excited to join the party! I actually had the LN Engineering IMS bearing swap done on it. It was probably something else or it might have been my "spirited" driving :headbang:

Welcome! I also came from a Boxster, an 09 base. The Boxster was fun but the Tacoma is too - just in very different ways.
