    Welcome to TacomaWorld.

I'd pick white for two reasons. First is black is almost impossible to keep clean. Second with Mexico's hot sun the white will be a bit cooler. I'd also suggest the tan interior over the grey for the same reason.

thanks for welcoming me to this forums, Roland, thanks for the advice, i had considered white for the same reasons, the thing is there are no tan interiors in mexico, only gray, also there are just 2 version of the tacoma, sr5 and trd sport, both double cab, no 4x4, toyota has only about 2 or 3 years in mexico....

I wonder how much of a hassle it would be to buy one in the US and bring it down.

Well Roland, it is a big hassle, first of all, law allows particulars to import only vehicles 10yrs older, thats a '98, the other option would be to import it with the dealership, but it costs a lot, i think in the couple of years toyota will be introducing some new models, for example, they just introduced quad cab tundras 4x2, and sequoia, maybe next year we´ll have 4x4 tacomas....

Welcome to TW. I'd recommend the white. I've been hearing a lot about black tacomas being the target of tailgate and spare tire theft.

But don't those black ones also have free wrenches that rattle around behind the seats?
