Hello and frame recall

    Hello to all. I bought my Tacoma 3 years ago (used) and have enjoyed my problem free truck since then. I just received a recall notice for potential frame damage and was just wondering if any one has any related comments or concerns
    The dealer says there is no damage but they want the truck for 2 days to clean and coat/treat the inside of the frame
    I’m OK with that but am I missing something. Should I be asking more questions?

    Welcome to TW...Nothing to be concerned about. Toyota has horrible frames and always have. It’s part of their program to keep frames from rusting through. I just got my notification 2 days ago. In my opinion the CRC treatment is a joke. In the end, if your frame does rust through within 12 years of the in service date they will replace the frame as long as you follow the program.
