My name is John. I live in Sheridan, Wyoming, like to hunt and fish in the mountains. I got a new F150 about 3 years ago, good truck, but due to financial issues and Taco fever, time to move on before I planned to.

I located a nice 2005 Double Cab TRD Off-Road 4x4 and making a road trip this weekend. Also made arrangements with the seller so it will be there when I show up. Unless something falls through, looks like I will have a great bonafide mountain pickup from everything I have read.

Drove a little Corolla for a long time before I moved up here and the Tacoma seems like the best of all worlds, pretty nimble for a pickup, okay on fuel, awesome off-road setup, but practical with the double cab/shortbed. Of course it is a Toyota :)

Anyway, glad to be here and hope to learn a lot more!
