Hi All, I'd like to intro myself as a first time Tacoma buyer and a first time Toyota owner. I guess you could say "I've been a long time admirer, first time buyer". In fact when my oldest son (now 33) bought his first vehicle back in 03 I convinced him to buy a Taco. He bought a new SC and proceeded to beat the shit out of it for 10years or 140k. He just last year traded it in on, now don't get down on me becouse I had no idea he was doing it, a Subaru - booo haha.
Anyway back to me. So far I love my new little truck, I've driven Ford Super Duties for the last I don't know how many years so this is definitely a big step downsize for me. My Taco doesn't seem all that small really. I have done some towing with it (16' glass boat) and find it more than capable. So anyway I've been lurking around here for quite some time decided it's time to post some Q's about issues I'm looking at. My first objective is to upgrade the sound system. I've got the Entune Plus without Nav. So if your one of those audiophile guys please look for my first post in the the regular forums in Audio & Video. Here are some more details on my Taco.
2014 DBL Cab, V-6, auto, 4X4. LB, TRD Sport.
I want to thank another forum member for offering a used SnugTop topper for sale, So thanks Brian and his wonderful family for helping me with the Topper Swap. So anyway as you see in my Avitar the topper is White on my Black truck I am getting a lot of comments that I look like a 60's cop. Oh well I will be searching comments on that issue too.
So It's off to the other forums for me, A&V first. See ya around...
    Tommy
