    Greetings,

    Camping, fishing and hunting in my blood
    From hammock to tent to popup to 27 ft 5th wheel to 32 ft 5th wheel
    From mid size pick up to full size Dodge van to F 150 to CK 3500 diesel dually to Wrangler and now a RED 2017 SR5 :>)

    With the 32 ft'er on a perment camp site near Chincoteague Bay VA and big truck sold but still the desire to hit-the-trail ...
    ...the SR5 is ready for a 'teardrop'-lQQk-ing-slide-in and I need a winter project

    www search media result is nil for plans or image that suit

    Being not too shabby with lumber, power tools and mechanical stuff... but slow with new media apps ... will post my concept soon as I figure how to create and attach an image

    ONE 4X8 ft sheet of plywood (per side) will produce 5 ft 6 in MAX HEADROOM (ever see that movie?) and of course 8 feet long

    Rear door is 2 ft wide and 4 ft high

    Slide width is an option ... depending of sleeping desires
    With NO side rail overhang ...
    a 6 ft single bed along one side with murphy-option
    OR with siderail over hang ...
    6 ft double bed across front (parallel to axels) and murphy option

    Reguardless of width option and tailgate configuration
    MAX outside in the 'weather' length is 8 feet (one sheet of plywood per side)
    Weather 'tight' compartment is load bed length plus width option

    Rear door is locked shut when tailgate is closed plus full standing room from the ground under aprx 2 ft rear overhang

    My DIY plans are up for constructive criticism
